What are the metal parts at the end of this spindle called?

What is the name of the metal parts at the ends of this spindle?
Is there a generic name for this style of "whatever their name is"?
Trying to buy them separately but I can't find them and I think I am not using the right key words
Have you seen them anywhere for sale (again I do not want the wood -Lowes sells them in Read Oak only and I want that to be white oak)

It's called a baluster. The part that covers the attachment where the baluster meets the tread is called a shoe or shoe hardware.
