Hi Z , Screening is a nylon mesh sanding screen with little holes in it .. It removes all the scratches the sand paper leaves in the floor ..
What OS is the confuser ?, and what are you using to play them.. For now try doing a sys restore ..
Thanks for explaining screening.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate. The video playback is in google Chrome. I think the cat just stepped just the right combo of keys to speed up the videos. The weird thing is, sound still plays normally, but video goes superfast and then stops to buffer. Then audio will play while the picture is frozen. I suspect rebooting will fix it.
Havasu, I would be pissed if I were in your situation. I would definitely want a new car.
Speaking of vehicles, my precious truck will be in the shop for awhile. Last night I was making a left turn when a drunk driver behind me tried to pass me on the left. There were no street lights & it was dark so I didn't even see him until he hit me, spun sideways, and slid about 30ft. His gas tank busted open and was pouring fuel out.
People stopped and rushed over to check on him & then he got out and rushed over to check on me. He's volunteer fire department but he was driving after having a few beers. His truck was totaled. Mine had the fender smashed, edge of the hood bent, head light destroyed, front bumper borked, and it popped my tire & scratched my rim.
The good thing is that no one was hurt. But I never got the guy's information in all of the havoc. Cops wouldn't give me his info (all I really wanted was his insurance policy #). I had to call 911 bc I couldn't find the # for the sheriff's department & there was the gas leak. EMTs arrived first, then local cops who were just doing traffic control, then the fire truck showed up, then the parish sheriffs made it over from Oberlin.
While we were waiting, a woman hit a deer further down the road so some of the cops had to go check on her. Said it was a 6-pointer. One of the EMTs was asking if the deer had been picked up by anyone yet bc he wanted deer stew.
The good news is that no one was hurt- although the other driver got a "hard ticket". Cop was annoyed with him & told him he was very lucky that nobody was hurt. But, now he has that on his record & his truck he got 2 months ago is totaled (and he only had liability insurance) so he's going to pay for it. I just hope his insurance had decent enough coverage for my damages. But, I have to wait 10 days to get the police report. At least my insurance will move on getting things repaired in the meantime. The guy who towed me (the one I asked for specifically bc he's always nice) also does bodyshop work so I will get an estimate from him and get an estimate from the Honda body shop. I'm sure Honda will be more expensive, but I trust them to be able to do it right. I didn't want to go with my insurance's preferred guy bc he's slow & his paintwork is crappy (I mean, if you like orange-peel texture it might be ok). I might as well find out how much it will cost extra to repair the damage where Mom backed up into a tree. I'm still just glad nobody was hurt. I was more worried about the other driver when I saw how his truck flew and crashed off the road. And the cops and EMTs were all very nice.
Hard to see bc it was very dark out-- although the police livery reflecting is pretty cool.
Hope everyone else is having a better day. Although, as tired as I am, I'm not upset. I got some Snickers bars and I feel I deserve them.
Tomorrow I'll try to work on the plumbing again. I've been putting it off while sick and when I tried to take the universal spud off I couldn't get the screws out. Went to Lowes and remembered the screws weren't put in with a screwdriver, but with a tiny allen wrench. Durrrr. So, I'm going to take that off tomorrow.
On removing the valve, I turn it all the way on and then use the tool thingy and turn it left? Or right? to remove the valve. And to put it back in, I just push it and turn the opposite direction?
