    Roberts cotton head attachment

My 30 year old cotton head peeled back out of the frame the last time I used it. It’s been sitting in my garage for 2 almost years. I almost threw it out. Do you think this is fixable? I’m not sure what type of glue to try. Contact adhesive, C A glue ??

    Question for CJ

I had a job to do with LVP on stair treads. The customer wanted metal stair nose metal. I needed to cut 15 pieces of metal so I bought this aluminum/ non- ferrous metal blade. It worked great on the 90° cuts. The cuts were cleaner than the factory ends. I had one 45° miter. I placed the metal...

I wasn’t sure if I had posted this here before… but ,this comes in pretty handy when changing trailer tires. I haven’t carried my floor jack in my trailer for several years.

    Brazilian Cheery / Jatoba install

I’m starting a job with 5” wide 3/4” solid Jatoba this week. I’ve done a lot of research on this material and the fastener of choice is a 18 gauge cleat. I’m good there because I have 2 Primatech 550 combo guns. I’m going to get a new finish nailer this weekend. I’m debating between a 15 and a...

    12 volt inflator.

I got this little guy for Christmas last year. I used it for the first time the other day. It runs on a 12 volt battery. It sure beats dragging out a air compressor and hose. The hose threads onto the valve stem so you don’t have to hold it. You set it at the desired psi and it shuts off when...

    Loose lay carpet issue

I did a job recently. It was commercial level loop carpet in an L-shaped room. Most of the area is concrete and the shorter part of the L-shape is pressure-treated decking. There is a huge hot tub) and hat was empty at the time of installation in the area with the decking. I lose laid the long...

    Magnum shear

I brought my old I-13 Pro shear back from the dead. I used to store it on a shelf over the wheel well of my old trailer. I didn’t realize the wheel well had some holes it, and the tool took on moisture for who knows how long.It completely froze up on me . It took it apart today and cleaned it...

    Duo fast tacker problem

The other day while using one of my Duo fast tackers the trigger fell of the tool. I put the pieces back in the case and used my other gun to finish the job. Yesterday I put the broken one back together and it still would not work. It almost seems like something is missing. It’s not making...

    Crain 280 Air mover

I finally pulled the trigger on a air sled after 34 years of installing. This is an awesome tool. I used it today to move a washer and dryer. I moved them to one side of the room and installed 1/2 way across the room. The tool alowed me to get over and onto the 3/8” thick flooring without the...

    New trailer

I picked up my new trailer tonight. Put a floor in it . Going to start putting shelves in tomorrow. My last trailer lasted 11 years. If this one last that long I will be 66 years old. I love the electric jack. For 25 years I have had the hand crank, I’m not going to miss that.

    Table saw tip

I’m doing a hardwood/ tile job this week. The tile is square to the outside door. To make the hardwood straight in the room a had to taper the wood 3/16” in 4’. I can usually eyeball a fairly straight line with a table saw, but I needed very straight edge.

    Carpet rip up tool

Not sure if I posted this here before but this tool came in handy this week. We had 260 yards of glue down rip up that was a bear to remove. This thing isn’t real fast but it definitely takes a lot of the bullwork out of it. Rips up 4 foot shots at a time.
