Hey guys , in your opinion , what is the key difference between installing solid hardwood and bamboo besides the thickness of the planks and size for that matter ?

There are many differences. The most important is the consumer needs to be educated on the required rh for the plant....err grass. Then depending on the construction of the bamboo, the fastener.

Your questions are so vague. Like what nailer or stapler are you using? This would dictate what plate you use or not. Are you working alone, or have a crew? Is there take-up of other flooring or is it all ready sitting there with no floor prep to do and no furniture?

To many variables unless you submit more lots info. Then I really don't know how experienced you are or how motivated you are to finish 1,000 sqft of bamboo.

And use a finer cut blade than you do for wood. It will take longer to make your cuts, but bamboo is much more "strand-like" than wood. And some bamboo products more so than others. You can save yourself some grief with a finer blade.
