A friend picture messages me this photo of the project he's working on. Honestly I'm stumped as to WTF is going on. Way outside the realm of my flooring experience. But it's so cool I had to share.

Nope, its a Roberts. I have one or two. I think there are 2 models. One has it so the little dial you see extends the teeth and the other don't.
Oh and the one I started on was older than that one.

I remember kicking the osborne , and the pad came off , and my knee hi the steel plate hard . Blew my knee up to the size of a basketball.

At first I thought it was the JOLSON a seam cutter for carpet. But that didn't have the handle like that and the blade just set in a slot and floated. I can't read the writing and see if there is a patent number.

Best i can get out of it is that it is a amcraft made in Ohio.
This would be a difficult installation.
Drive you nuts walking on it. Where is the rest of the picture of those legs that are showing.

IDK. I took the pictures off FB.
Right click on the picture, should give "save as" as one of the options. Left click on that. Then your picture folders come up. On the lower right, it gives you the options to "save", click on save. You can also go to the left side and rename the picture.
