bottom line. police under stress during a shoot out with criminals only hit 14%..let that sink in. 14% of 30 rounds is 4.2.

Why not, I know it's legal to do so. I live in Oregon and that happened all summer long and it was okay with the governor. If it's good enough for the governor then it's good enough for me.
That meme is highly misleading, seeing as what it is in reference to is almost 2 years old, was a procedural issue raised by the house judiciary committee which was largely voted against by Dems, then when presented to the entirety of the house was largely voted for by Dems (with notification legislation in-tact) and soundly repealed by Republicans.

This is the problem with politics in the internet age, or most mass consumed information (re:media) is that everything gets boiled down into a meme and no one does homework anymore or independently verifies their point of view. They just consume what is in front of them.

Missouri has a similar bill, HB 85, that goes a bit further and prevents state and local law enforcement officers from aiding feds in gun confiscation.
