MS driver updater

My AVG keeps telling me I have several drivers out of date. So I went to Lenovo (my brand name) update website. It said to do MS update first.

The MS driver update, it listed my machine as a Dell??? Then it said I have a custom built??? Confused already. Ran the scans and it confirmed I have 9 drivers and other outdated stuff. Should I pull the trigger?

You should get your drivers from the manufacturer.

custom built usually means it didn't come from the factory like that ..

Create a system restore point ,and do a back up if you can . then :shooting:

But lenovo said to go to MS first. And how can my pc be a dell? It don't make sense.

I need to see what is on your rig E as far as Mother board , Chipsets [ETC}>

There is a reason Lenovo is saying it is a Dell.
