Here's a 3-5-7 Robbins I recently did. When I was finished the guy said I was good but expensive. He was referred to me by his real estate agent. I also restretched one room of carpet and gave him a deal, like half off since I was there already. It was only one wall. Never shoulda done that.

Wasn't certain I should use the attached cushion on the stairs but it worked out well, sounds better than not.
Walls were way out and wanted to cut sheetrock but that was x-nayed by the GC, cept for the last one where the corner bead was in the way. Giving the stair wizard a work out.

No matter which way you look at it . Yuk.

Anybody remember a carpet that was around in the mid to late 70's that was called Candy Striped? It look like the stuff on these stairs. All the colors in the rainbow and like Rusty said, it can mess with your head. The shop we worked for at the time sold the sheet out of it. End seams were a PITA.

That was real popular with the lumber yards that sold carpet.

How come you didn't miter the landing? :D
Looks nice. Did you also glue the edge of the nose where it contacts the riser?

I go over the direction with the owner, that's the way he wanted it and what's up with you and rugaddict and mitered landings?? I did gluue and finish nail the nosing. Didn't have to use the track but thought IIT would add strength.

Kidding on the miter. I've never seen one on a landing. I figured you'd add glue, but had to ask.

What's going on in this image?

How's the wizard working out for you E ?

The wizard works great Nick, thanks again for letting me borrow it. :)

High, had to cut the sheet rock out due to the corner bead on the sheet rock, wouldn't fit in otherwise. That corner bead really pissed me off, when using the wizard on the risers it would hit the corner bead so I had to add a Little more angle to the cut on that side.
