Anybody remember a carpet that was around in the mid to late 70's that was called Candy Striped? It look like the stuff on these stairs. All the colors in the rainbow and like Rusty said, it can mess with your head. The shop we worked for at the time sold the sheet out of it. End seams were a PITA.
How come you didn't miter the landing?
Looks nice. Did you also glue the edge of the nose where it contacts the riser?
Kidding on the miter. I've never seen one on a landing. I figured you'd add glue, but had to ask.I go over the direction with the owner, that's the way he wanted it and what's up with you and rugaddict and mitered landings?? I did gluue and finish nail the nosing. Didn't have to use the track but thought IIT would add strength.
