Cam bad!
Valves, .....well, at least they're still where they're supposed to be.

Late this afternoon I went out to staple down some wrinkles in some glued down patterned carpet. It's a temporary fix as they're trying to find a matching color.
Coming back down the hill, the sun was getting close to setting. Not worth hanging around, so it's a shoot and run.
The tide was almost out.

He had a construction company. Did everything except flooring. This picture is after he had a stroke. He died from lung cancer. Was a 3-4 pack a day smoker.
I remember those days of 3-4 pack a day. Quit 38 years ago cold turkey and never looked back. So I get blood clots on the lungs instead of lung cancer, but they checked anyway even knowing of quitting.

My wife lost her dad (92) in Sept. and her mom (89) just a few weeks ago. We're going through the old photos. Thought I'd post a few here. They divorced in 1976.

It's fun looking back at those old days. I quit going through my old photos when my xp powered confuser died. I inherited my grandpa's photos, I have mom and dad's photos, plus 500 boxes of my own Kodachrome photos.
My Cannon film scanner doesn't mesh with anything newer than XP.
I think that was a conspiracy to make everyone go a digital.
....that's my hunch and I'm stickin' to it.

It's been quite a while since I've seen one of these. We got down to 25 last night. This is a plastic container that had some water in it. It froze kind of funky. This little shark fin is protruding almost an inch and a half. I can tell from the shape, that the wind was coming from the East. 🫣 When we get cold weather it always comes from the east, not off the ocean.
They're called ice spikes.
